I’ve discovered that I prefer listening to nonfiction audiobooks over fiction. For me, fiction is for relaxing, nonfiction is just processing information.
We went out to eat last night with a few good friends and their kids. Had a great time. After we put the kids to bed, we watched Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. I’m not one for writing reviews, but it was entertaining. I was skeptical at first, but it was fun and I needed something that wasn’t too serious.

Today started off pretty slow. While my wife was out for a workout this morning, I stayed home with the kids, and we watched The Mitchells vs. The Machines. Not bad! My son liked it a lot, but my daughter was a little scared by the robots at times. For lunch, we finished off some leftover tacos from last night’s dinner.
After lunch, I tackled decluttering our bedroom/office. One of my goals for 2025 was to get our house in order, and this was as good of a place as any to start. Both of us work part time from home and our desk tends to accumulate everything—papers, books, random notes and other …

Took our kids to see Moana 2, my daughter’s first movie in theaters. For all of us, it was $90.52 for four matinee tickets, two bags of popcorn, and a Diet Pepsi.
Real talk…keeping kids entertained when they’re not in school or daycare for weeks is messy AF, especially in a small house.
I’ve been at an indoor play place with my kids for going on 3 hours. They’ve been going hard, too. Hoping these maniacs fall asleep at a decent hour tonight and sleep in a little tomorrow. I still have my doubts. 😅
Avon calling!
2024 was a bountiful year with many firsts to celebrate. Thankful for friends, family, travel, health, creative endeavors, and purpose. All the best in 2025. #2024
Convinced whoever is designing men’s swim trunks, particularly the internal mesh, have no understanding of male anatomy.
